Diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním dvou českých překladů novely Mramorová socha (Das Marmorbild) od Josepha von Eichendorffa. Teoretická část práce uvažuje nad překladem uměleckého díla a jeho jazykem. Praktická část je zaměřena na srovnání překladů z úhlu gramatického, lexikálního a stylistického.
