The Development of Musical Folklorism in Wallachia with the Focus on Significant Carriers of Folk Tradition
Abstract:
Práce je zaměřena na lidovou hudbu a vývoj folklorního hnutí na Valašsku s důrazem na muzikanty a zpěváky – nositele lidové tradice, a to v období od konce 19. století do začátku devadesátých let 20. století. Zabývá se výraznými osobnostmi hudebního folkloru první poloviny 20. století a sleduje vývoj folklorních souborů na Rožnovsku, Valašskomeziříčsku a Vsetínsku.
Abstract:
The present diploma thesis explores the manifestations of folklore music, focusing on the development of folklore movement in Wallachia and particularly on active musicians and singers. The thesis covers the period from the late 19th century until the early nineties of 20th century.
