Expression of the Future

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with the grammar structures expressing the future in the Spanish language. It aims to present particular verb tenses or other structures used in expressing the sequence and to describe their application. Apart from this, we have also compared the ways the future tenses are explained in Czech grammar textbooks.There are two parts in this thesis, the theoretical one, and the practical one. In the first, theoretical part we focuse on the verb tenses expressing the future and the way they are elaborated and presented in selected Czech grammar books of Spanish language. In the second, practical part, we apply our theoretical conclusions on practical examples, analysing the use of verbal tenses in a few selected Spanish literary works.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá jevy, které mohou ve španělštině vyjadřovat budoucnost. Cílem této práce je prezentovat slovesné časy nebo jiné prostředky, které vyjadřují následnost a popsat jejich užití. Kromě toho srovnáváme, jak jsou jednotlivé budoucí časy vysvětleny ve vybraných českých gramatikách. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části: část teoretickou a část praktickou. V první, teoretické části, se zaměřujeme na slovesné časy, které mohou vyjádřit budoucnost. Dále analyzujeme jejich zpracování a způsob prezentace ve vybraných českých gramatikách španělštiny. V druhé, praktické části, aplikujeme tyto poznatky v praxi. Rozebíráme používání daných slovesných časů v několika vybraných španělských literárních dílech.
