Support for students with specific learning disabilities at the university

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část se v prvních třech kapitolách zaměřuje na historický přehled a uvedení do problematiky specifických poruch učení. Dále vymezuje jednotlivé poruchy učení, jako je dyslexie, dysgrafie, dysortografie, dyskalkulie a další. Poslední čtvrtou kapitolou teoretické části je podpora studentů se specifickými poruchami učení na vysoké škole. Ta se zabývá poskytovanou podporou, modifikací studijních podmínek a podporou Univerzitního centra podpory. Empirická část obsahuje výzkumné šetření provedené pomocí dotazníku, ve kterém bylo osloveno 70 respondentů s diagnostikovanou poruchou učení. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit, jaká je poskytovaná podpora studentům se specifickými poruchami učení na vysoké škole, jak danou podporu studenti využívají a jak jsou s ní spokojení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part in the first three chapters is devoted to a historical overview and introduction to the issue of specific learning disabilities. It also defines individual learning disorders, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysorthography, dyscalculia and others. The last fourth chapter of the theoretical part is the support of students with specific learning disabilities at university. It deals with the provision of support, modification of study conditions and support of the University Support Center. The empirical part contains a research survey conducted using a questionnaire, which addressed 70 respondents with a diagnosed learning disability. The aim of this work was to find out what support is provided to students with specific learning disabilities at the university, how students use this support and how satisfied they are with it.
