Práce se věnuje konzumaci hmyzu a tématům s tím souvisejícím. Hmyz je konzumován v mnoha částech světa (Asie, Jižní Amerika, Afrika) a setkáváme se s ní i v historii. V České republice se teprve rozvíjí. Hmyz ve výživě může nalézt uplatnění zejména v rozvojových zemích a v případě potravinové krize. The thesis deals with the insect consummation and subjects associated with. Insect is being consumed in many parts of the world (Asia, South America, Africa) and we can find it throughout history.
