Comparison of the social aspects of corporate culture in terms of secondary schools

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá komparací sociálních aspektů firemní kultury v podmínkách středních škol. Práce je dělena na sedm hlavních kapitol. První kapitola se týká stěžejního názvu kultura. V této kapitole je tento pojem vymezen z hlediska historického a současného, protože chápání tohoto pojmu nebylo vždy zcela jednotné. Druhá kapitola se soustředí na téma firemní kultura. Jsou zde vymezeny její hlavní aspekty, které s tímto pojmem souvisí, ale i charakterizace tohoto pojmu. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na kulturu školy. Kultura školy je odvozena od firemní kultury. Ta má své jisté specifikace s ohledem na cíle školy a na aspekty školy jako organizace. Další, čtvrtá kapitola se věnuje klima školy. Klima školy je důležitým psychologickým ukazatelem této organizace a je odrazem a reakcí na kulturu dané školy. Pátá kapitola popisuje další sociální aspekty kultury školy s ohledem na její volbu. Jde především o faktory managementu školy, image školy a různé determinanty při její volbě, pohledem jednotlivých aktérů školy. Poslední dvě kapitoly jsou zaměřeny empiricky.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the comparison of social aspects of company culture in the conditions of secondary schools. The work is divided into seven main chapters. The first chapter concerns the very notion of culture. In this chapter this notion is dealt with from the historical as well as contemporary point of view, since the understanding of this notion has never been completely uniform. The second chapter focuses on the topic of company culture. The main aspects which are connected with this notion are defined, as well as the characterization of this notion. The third chapter focuses on school culture with regard to school aims and aspects of school as an organization. The fourth chapter deals with school climate. School climate is an important psychological indicator of this organization, and it is a reflection of and reaction to the culture of a particular school. The fifth chapter descri-bes other social aspects of school culture with regard to its choice. They are especi ally the factors concerning the school management, school image, and various determi-nants concerning the choice of school viewed by the individual participants in the school process. The last two chapters are empirically focused.
