History and political destiny of Czech in Russian territory (1914-1925)

Abstract:

The history of representatives of the Czech ethnos in the period of the early twentieth century on the territory of the Russian Empire, later the Soviet state, traditionally arouses the scientific interest of professional historians and the public. Since 1914, the Czechs have been in the orbit of political, social and economic processes on the territory of Ukraine, the Caucasus, the Central regions of Russia, the Volga region, the Urals, Siberia and the Far East. In the research work, an analysis was made of the first close contacts at the interstate level. Further, the author of the study tried to study in detail the process of finding Czechs in Russian captivity and their involvement in economic and economic activities based on an analysis of archival sources from a number of cities in the Volga region, the Urals and Eastern Siberia. The issue of ideological preferences and political heterogeneity of representatives of the Czech ethnos was also considered. The author put forward an idea that, in its essence, opposes the clichéd image of the "White Czechs" of Soviet historiography. According to the author's concept, the majority of Czechs sought to return to their homeland in order to fight for state independence. When studying the second group, who sympathized with the ideology of the Bolsheviks, the author introduces the names of previously little-studied figures of the Bolshevik movement, considers the activities of Ch. Grushka, I. Pospisil, A. Shipek. Further, the author dwells in detail on the activities of labor migrants from Czechoslovakia, who from the mid-1920s. actively participated in the construction of the Soviet state and made a significant contribution to the economy, industry and agriculture in a number of regions of the Volga region and Central Asia. The study is based on the study of archival materials from the Czech National Archives, the Volgograd and Saratov Regional Archives and the Central State Archives of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.

Historie představitelů českého etnosu na počátku dvacátého století. na území Ruského impéria, později sovětského státu, tradičně vzbuzuje vědecký zájem odborných historiků i veřejnosti. Od roku 1914 se Češi ocitli na oběžné dráze politických, sociálních a ekonomických procesů na území Ukrajiny, Kavkazu, středních oblastí Ruska, Povolží, Uralu, Sibiře a Dálného východu. Ve výzkumné práci byla provedena analýza prvních úzkých kontaktů na mezistátní úrovni. Dále se autor studie pokusil podrobně prostudovat proces hledání Čechů v ruském zajetí a jejich zapojení do ekonomických a ekonomických aktivit na základě analýzy archivních pramenů z řady měst v oblasti Povolží, Uralu a východní Sibiře. Zvažována byla i otázka ideologických preferencí a politické heterogenity představitelů českého etna. Autor předložil myšlenku, která se ve své podstatě staví proti klišovitému obrazu "Bíločechů" sovětské historiografie. Podle autorova pojetí se většina Čechů snažila o návrat do vlasti, aby bojovala za státní samostatnost. Při studiu druhé skupiny, která sympatizovala s ideologií bolševiků, autor uvádí jména dříve málo prozkoumaných osobností bolševického hnutí, uvažuje o činnosti Čeněka Hrušky, J. Pospíšila, A. Šipka. Dále se autor podrobně věnuje aktivitám pracovních migrantů z Československa, kteří od poloviny 20. let 20. století. se aktivně podílel na budování sovětského státu a významně přispěl k hospodářství, průmyslu a zemědělství v řadě regionů Povolží a Střední Asie. Studie vychází ze studia archivních materiálů Českého národního archivu, Oblastního archivu Volgograd a Saratov a Státního ústředního archivu Republiky Kyrgyzstán.
