Potenciál železniční nákladní dopravy v České republice

The potential of rail freight transport in the Czech Republic
Abstract:
Předkládaná práce se věnuje problematice nákladní železniční dopravy. V práci je srovnáván potenciál nákladní železniční dopravy ve státech V4. Bylo vyhodnoceno, že nejlepší potenciál má Česká republika. Tento potenciál spočívá zejména v husté železniční síti, zavedené konkurenci v oblasti nákladní železniční dopravy a existující infrastruktury, která je však mnohdy zastaralá a nedostačující.
Abstract:
The presented work deals with the issue of rail freight transport. The work compares the potential of rail freight transport in the V4 countries. It was evaluated that the Czech Republic has the best potential. This potential lies mainly in the dense rail network, established competition in rail freight and existing infrastructure, which is, however, often outdated and insufficient.
