The Art of Vitrage

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá uměleckým sklářským odvětvím, vitrážemi. První teoretická část práce je zaměřena na terminologii, historii, materiály, klasické i nové postupy výroby i představitele vitráží. Druhá praktická část popisuje realizaci vlastních vitráží, kterou doplňuje vitráž vytvořena dětmi. V této části je navíc doporučeno, které postupy lze využít při práci s dětmi.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis covers glass art and staned glass. First, theoretical part of the thesis introduces terminology, history, material, traditional and new manufacturing procedures and main representatives of stained glass art. The second, practical part describes realization of my own glass art and of glass art artifacts produced by children. This part moreover recommends procedures that can be used when working with children.
