Nádorová onemocnění jsou často provázena špatným stavem výživy – malnutricí. Malnutrice znamená pro nemocného se zhoubným nádorem často celkově horší prognózu, sníženou kvalitu života a častější výskyt komplikací. Abstract:
Malnutrition in cancer patients is associated with an alteration of quality of life and a reduced survival. A simple nutritional assessment program and early counselling by a dietitian are essential to guide nutritional support. Clinical view of malnutrition is known like cachexia.
