Práce hledala souvislosti mezi vysokou potřebou poznávání (NC) a blouděním mysli (BM). Vysoká NC je specifická zálibou v přemýšlení a v plnění náročných úkolů. BM charakterizuje utíkání myšlenek od aktuálně vykonávané činnosti. Hlavní otázkou bylo, zda mají lidé s vysokou NC větší sklon k BM než lidé s nízkou NC. Abstract:
The work looked for connections between the high need for cognition (NC) and mind wandering (BM). A high NC is characterized by enjoying thinking and completing challenging tasks. BM is characterized by different thoughts from the activity, which is being performed. The main question was whether people with high NC are more prone to BM than people with low NC.
