Abstract:
Produkt navazuje na brutalismus, který je v dnešní době zanedbávaný. Hlavní myšlenkou odkládacích stolků je upozornění na beton, konkrétně cement, který je jeho hlavní složkou. Ten představuje kolem 8 % globálních uhlíkových emisí způsobující globální oteplování. Na tento problém reaguji představením dusané hlíny jako možné alternativy betonu.
Abstract:
The product follows the brutalist architecture movement. In my work, I criticize the environmental impact of concrete, caused by the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere during its production, which accounts for around 8% of global carbon emissions causing global warming. My product is two coffee tables that use rammed earth as an alternative material of concrete.
