Reading of Josef Škvorecký´s texts at Secondary Schools after 2010

Abstract:

Tématem práce je průzkum četby Josefa Škvoreckého na středních školách ve Vsetínském okrese. Průzkum probíhal ve čtvrtých ročnících na odborných školách a gymnáziích. První část práce se zabývá teoretickými poznatky o čtení, čtenáři a jeho návycích. Vymezuje odborné pojmy a prezentuje dosavadní provedené výzkumy na území České republiky. Druhá část je zaměřená na některá díla Josefa Škvoreckého a na motivech těchto děl je ukázáno to, co by mohlo dnešního středoškolského čtenáře na této četbě zaujmout. Hlavní náplní práce je samotný průzkum, ve kterém bylo uplatněno několik různých metod šetření. Cílem práce je zjistit jaké zkušenosti mají středoškolští studenti s tímto autorem, ale také co by je na četbě Škvoreckého děl mohlo zaujmout a do jaké míry studenti dokážou vnímat literární text.

Abstract:

The theme of the work is an survey of reading Josef Škvorecky in secondary schools in Vsetin district. The survey was conducted in the fourth grade in vocational schools and high schools. The first part deals with the theoretical knowledge of reading, readers, and his habits. It defines technical terms and presents the main research in the Czech Republic. The second part is focused on some of the writtings of Josef Škvorecky and the motives of the writtings shown what could today's secondary school readers to take this reading. The main concern of the survey itself, which has been applied to several different methods. The aim is to find out what experience they have secondary school students with the author, but also what is the reading of Škvorecky's writtings could take and the extent to which students are able to perceive the literary text.
