Abstract:
Cervikovaginální léze jsou onemocnění dolního ženského genitálu mající souvislost s infekcí HPV. Protein p16 je nitrobuněčný antigen silně exprimovaný v buňkách postižených HPV infekcí. Cervicovaginal lesions are diseases of the female genital organs associated with HPV infection. p16 protein is an intracellular antigen that is highly produced in HPV-positive cells. Information about HPV status in pathological areas is very important for treatment and follow-up of patients. p16 is detected by immunohistochemical methods using specific antibodies.
