Application of VAT in the Health Insurance Companies in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Aplikace DPH ve zdravotních pojišťovnách v ČR“ analyzuje různé výše daně z přidané hodnoty a pracuje s touto formou nepřímé daně v sektoru zdravotnictví v České republice. Cílem práce je popsat problematiku aplikace daně z přidané hodnoty ve zdravotnictví u nás s ohledem na její dopad na hospodaření zdravotních pojišťoven i ostatních zdravotnických subjektů. Dotkneme se i dopadu DPH na konečného spotřebitele zdravotních služeb. Součástí práce je také vyvození důsledků nejen zvyšování sazby samotné, tak i její plnění zdaňovaná a osvobozená dle zákona o DPH, dle směrnice a judikatury Evropského soudního dvora, rozdíly oproti nové úpravě, prokazování, regulační poplatky, lázeňská péče, služby související se zdravotními službami, zdravotní služby. Výsledkem práce je zhodnocení daně z přidané hodnoty a její dopad na zdravotnictví, tak i na poplatníky samotné.

Abstract:

Thesis on "Application of VAT in health insurance companies in the Czech Republic" analyzes the different levels of value added tax and working with this form of indirect taxes in the health sector in the Czech Republic. The aim is to describe the problems of application of value added tax in health care in our country with regard to its impact on the performance of health insurers and other healthcare entities. It will also affect the impact of VAT on the final consumer health services. The work is to draw the consequences of not raising rates itself as well as its implementation taxation and exemption under the VAT Act, according to a directive of the European Court of Justice, the difference with the new regulation, demonstrating regulatory fees, spa treatments, services related to health services and health services. Result of this work is to evaluate the value-added tax and its impact on health, as well as the taxpayers themselves.
