The promotion of Czech foreign policy interests in the EU's Common commercial policy

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Prosazování českých zájmů v oblasti společné obchodní politiky EU“ je představit rozvoj společné obchodní politiky EU, současné zájmy a možnosti českých zástupců se podílet na jejich tvorbě. V první části práce se zabýváme historickým vývojem institucionálního práce s hlavním zaměřením na současný stav. V druhé části pak poukazujeme na možnosti českých zástupců v národních a nadnárodních institucích se zasloužit o rozvoj společné obchodní politiky. Současně se věnujeme aktuálním obchodním zájmům ČR a jejich souladu s prosazovanou obchodní agendou Unie.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis "Promoting Czech interests in the field of the common commercial policy 'is to present the development of the EU’s Common Commercial Policy, current interests and possibilities of Czech representatives to participate on the agenda-setting process. The first part deals with the historical development of institutional framework with the main focus on the actual situation. The second part refers to possibilities of Czech representatives in national and international institutions to participate on the progress of the Common Commercial Policy. At the same time we deal with contemporary trade interests of the Czech Republic and their compliance with the promoted trade agenda of the EU.
