Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dvěma australskými romány od současných autorů – prvním je Remembering Babylon (1993) od Davida Maloufa a dalším je dílo The Secret River (2005) od Kate Grenville. Oba romány líčí australské osadníky v době rané kolonizace. Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis analyses two Australian novels written by contemporary authors - Remembering Babylon (1993) by David Malouf, and The Secret River (2005) by Kate Grenville. Both novels depict the settler Australians during the early period of colonization.
