The thesis aims to find out the way of how is the last phase of the Chinese Civil War between 1945 and 1949 presented in Chinese textbooks of modern history. Firstly, the paper analyses the reforms in education in People`s Republic of China from founding the republic until 2003. Cieľom práce je zistiť akým spôsobom konštruujú čínske učebnice moderných dejín obdobie poslednej fázy Čínskej občianskej vojny medzi rokmi 1945 a 1949. Práca najprv analyzuje školské reformy v ČĽR od vzniku republiky až do roku 2003. Následne hľadá ich vplyv v dvoch čínskych učebniciach moderných dejín, ktoré boli vydané v rozmedzí 30-ich rokov.
