Vertebrogenic algic syndrome of the lumbar spine in equestrian sport

Abstract:

Úvod: Tato práce se zabývá fyzioterapeutickou intervencí u vertebrogenního algického syndromu v jezdeckém sportu. Cíl práce: Cílem bakalářské práce je přispět k řešení problematiky fyzioterapie u klientky s vertebrogenním algickým syndromem, věnující se jezdectví. Metodika: Na základě vstupního kineziologického vyšetření pacientky s bolestí zad jsem vytvořila krátkodobý fyzioterapeutický plán, který byl realizován v deseti individuálních terapiích po dobu deseti týdnů. Výsledky: Po dokončení terapií bylo provedeno výstupní kineziologické vyšetření, ve kterém v porovnání se vstupním vyšetřením byly zaznamenány změny v měřitelných objektivních parametrech. Mírně se zvýšila pohyblivost páteře do levostranné lateroflexe. Zlepšilo se rozvíjení horní hrudní oblasti. Rozsahy krční páteře se zvýšily o 10° do rotací a na pravé straně a o 5° do lateroflexe a extenze. Pohyb kyčelních klou-bů se oboustranně zlepšil o 20°, dále o 10° do abdukce, zevní rotace a u pravé kyčle se mírně také zlepšil rozsah pohybu do vnitřní rotace o 5°. Pacientka také subjektivně lépe vnímá pohyblivost kyčelních kloubů. Zlepšila se svalová síla v oblasti kyčelních kloubů a lopatek. Vnímaná bolestivost na vizuální algické škále se snížila z 6 na 3. Závěry: Zvolená fyzioterapeutická intervence byla úspěšná, ale pro viditelnější změny a posouzení stavu pacientky během intenzivnějších tréninků by byla nutná delší spolupráce.

Abstract:

Introduction: This work deals with physiotherapeutic intervention for vertebrogenic algic syndrome in equestrian sports. The aim of the work: The aim of the work is to collect the available theoretical knowledge about the vertebrogenic algic syndrome of the spine in horse riding and the choice of suitable physiotherapeutic procedures and methods when processing the case report of a patient with this syndrome, engaged in horse riding. Methodology: Based on the initial kinesiological examination of a patient with back pain, I created a short-term physiotherapy plan, which was implemented in ten individual therapies over a period of ten weeks. Results: After the completion of the therapies, an exit kinesiology examination was performed, in which changes in measurable objective parameters were recorded compared to the initial examination. The mobility of the spine to the left later flexion increased slightly. The development of the upper chest area has improved. Cervical spine ranges increased by 10° into rotations and on the right side and by 5° into later flexion and extension. The movement of the hip joints improved bilaterally by 20°, further by 10° into abduction, external rotation, and the range of movement into internal rotation of the right hip also improved slightly by 5°. The patient also subjectively perceives the mobility of the hip joints better. Muscle strength in the hip joints and shoulder blades has improved. Perceived pain on the VAS decreased from 6 to 3. Conclusions: The chosen physiotherapeutic intervention was successful, but for more visible changes and assessment of the patient's condition during more intensive trainings, much longer cooperation would be necessary.
