Working conditions for nurses and midwives at the children´s department

Abstract:

Tématem mé práce je hodnocení pracovních podmínek na dětském oddělení zdravotními sestrami a porodními asistentkami. V této práci sledujeme hlavně psychosociální zátěž, která je zaměřená na syndrom vyhoření a stres. Mimo to, sledujeme pracovní prostředí a fyzickou zátěž. Hlavním cílem této práce je zhodnotit pracovní podmínky sester v oblasti psychosociální zátěže, fyzické zátěže a pracovního prostředí, za účelem navržení preventivních opatření. Teoretická část je zaměřena na získání informací o dané problematice využitím literatury a slouží jako podklad pro vlastní sledování v praxi. Praktickou část tvoří průzkum hodnocení pracovních podmínek sestrami, ve výše uvedených oblastí na dětských odděleních dvou nemocnic v Praze. Základem praktické části je standardizovaný dotazník, který je součástí mezinárodního projektu SLIC (Senior Labour Inspectors Comittee). Výsledky, které získáme tímto průzkumem, budou využity k posouzení současných pracovních podmínek sester, za účelem návrhu preventivních opatření.

Abstract:

The theme of my work is working conditions in pediatric wards nurses and midwives. We are watching the main psychosocial workload, which is focused on burnout and stress in this work. Besides, we are watching the work environment and physical stress. The main objective of this study is the working conditions of nurses in the area of psychosocial stress, physical stress and the working environment, as preventive measures. The theoretical part is focused on obtaining information about these problems using literature and serves as a basis for self-monitoring in practice. The practical part consists of a survey evaluation of working conditions sisters in those areas in pediatric wards of two hospitals in Prague. The basis for the practical part of the standardized questionnaire, which is part of the international project SLIC (Senior Labour Inspectors Committee). Study results can be used to assess the current working conditions of nurses to propose preventive measures. Key
