Life satisfaction of patients with oncological disease

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem životní spokojenosti pacientů s onkologickým onemocněním. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na analýzu životní spokojenosti v kontextu onkologického onemocnění. Jsou zde zkoumány faktory ovlivňující životní spokojenost, včetně psychosociálních, emocionálních a fyzických aspektů. Dále je vysvětlen pojem onkologický pacient a jsou představeny možné dopady tohoto onemocnění na kvalitu života. V rámci teoretické části je rovněž popsán koncept psychoonkologie a je zkoumáno, jak mohou zdravotně-sociální pracovníci poskytnout podporu a pomoc onkologickým pacientům v procesu zvládání nemoci a dosahování vyšší životní spokojenosti. Praktická část práce je napsána ve formě přehledové studie, která poskytuje přehled o stavu poznání v oblasti životní spokojenosti u onkologických pacientů. Jsou zde analyzovány různé studie a vědecké články zabývající se tímto tématem, a to včetně metodiky, výsledků a závěrů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of life satisfaction of cancer patients. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of life satisfaction in the context of cancer. Factors influencing life satisfaction, including psychosocial, emotional and physical aspects, are examined. Furthermore, the concept of cancer patient is explained and the possible effects of the disease on quality of life are presented. The theoretical part also describes the concept of psychooncology and explores how health and social workers can provide support and assistance to cancer patients in the process of coping with the disease and achieving greater life satisfaction. The practical part of the thesis is written in the form of a review study that provides an overview of the state of knowledge in the area of life satisfaction in cancer patients.Various studies and research articles dealing with this topic are analysed, including methodology, results and conclusions.
