Renaissance Culture in Eastern Upper Hungary

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the penetration of the renaissance art into the east Upper Hungary region during the 15th and 16th century. It gives a brief overview of the political, cultural and social circumstances in this region and in the region of the middle Europe that led to the reception of the renaissance behind the Alps. Simultaneously, this work deals with the individual art pieces, that were created in this area, their description and their common and different features.

Abstract:

Táto práca sa zaoberá prenikaním renesančného umenia na územie východného Horného Uhorska počas 15. a 16. storočia. Poskytuje zbežný prehľad politických, kultúrnych a spoločenských pomerov na tomto území ako aj na území strednej Európy, ktoré viedli k recepcii renesancie v Zaalpsku. Zároveň sa táto práca venuje samostatným umeleckým dielam , ktoré vznikli v tejto oblasti, ich popisu, ako aj spoločným a rozdielnym znakom.
