Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the dispute over the problem of analytic statements in the context of 20th-century analytic philosophy. It presents the fundamental attitudes toward the notion of analyticity, namely the neo-positivists' treatment of analyticity and its relation to a priori knowledge and Quine's famous attack on this concept.
