Travelling Salesman Problem

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je věnována problému obchodního cestujícího. Cílem práce je identifikace hlavní příčiny vzniku tohoto problému a návrh možných řešení, která by zlepšila efektivitu plánování obchodních cest. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány základní pojmy a metody, které jsou s touto problematikou úzce spjaty. V praktické části je provedena analýza podnikových obchodních tras za pomoci jízdních dat a následné zpracování. Výsledky ukazují, že vybrané podniky neefektivně plánují trasy a díky neefektivnímu plánování ztrácí na jízdních nákladech peněžní prostředky.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is dedicated to the problem of a business traveler. The aim of the thesis is to identify the main causes of this problem and propose possible solutions that would improve the efficiency of business travel planning. The theoretical part of the thesis describes basic concepts and methods that are closely related to this issue. In the practical part, an analysis of company business routes is carried out using travel data and subsequent processing. The results show that the selected companies plan their routes inefficiently, and due to ineffective planning, they lose money on travel expenses.
