The use of Artificial Intelligence in Education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce "Využití umělé inteligence ve vzdělávání" popisovala historii a fungování umělé inteligence formou webových nástrojů, které umělou inteligenci využívají. Jednotlivé kapitoly obsahovaly podrobný popis vybraných webových nástrojů, které lze využít ve vzdělávání. V empirické části byly webové aplikace uplatněny v hodině formou aktivit. Následně formou dotazníku byly statisticky zpracovány odpovědi a pomocí chí kvadrátu bylo zjištěno, že na hladině významnosti 5 %, že znalost umělé inteligence souvisí s vyšším využitím umělé inteligence ve výuce. Z diskuse s pedagogy, kteří se výzkumu zúčastnili vyplynulo, že využití umělé inteligence ve vzdělávání má pozitivní přínos.

Abstract:

The thesis' Utilization of Artificial Intelligence in education' described the history and function through web gadgets that use Artificial Intelligence. Each chapters contained detailed description of these web gadgets that could be used for educative manners. In the empirical part, the gadgets were used in class through various activities. Afterwards, responses to these classes were statistically collected through a questionnare and by using the chi-square test it was found out that on the significance level of 5 % there is a correlation between knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and higher usage of Artificial Intelligence in education. Discusssion with colleagues, who participated in the research, revealed that using Artificial Intelligence in education has positive outcomes.
