Freinet's Pedagogy and the Czech School

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma Freinetova pedagogika a česká škola se věnuje hlouběji otázkám alternativního vzdělávání ve školách Celestina Freineta, zakladatele hnutí ?École Moderne?, které kritizuje tradiční vzdělávání a volá po reformě školského vzdělávacího systému. Proudy alternativní pedagogiky mohou být východiskem pro vznik moderní české školy, která by svou pozornost měla orientovat na zájmy a potřeby dítěte, ze kterých bude při utváření nového výchovně ? vzdělávacího procesu vycházet. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny výsledky komparace sociálního klimatu tříd tradiční české školy a tříd belgické alternativní Freinetovy školy.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is Freinet?s pedagogy and the Czech school. The thesis concentrates on an alternative education in Freinet?s schools. C. Freinet is the founder of ?École Moderne? movement, which criticises the traditional education and urges for the change in the school educational system for the better. The streams of this alternative pedagogy could be a starting point of the modern Czech school, which should be oriented on interests and needs of children. This will become a basis for a new educational process. At the end of my thesis there are stated the results of social climate comparison in classes within traditional Czech system and the ones in Belgian alternative Freinet?s school.
