The general level of education in connection to the assertion of he socially excluded on the job market

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se věnuje problematice vzdělávání Romů a jejich uplatnění na trhu práce. V práci je nastíněna historie Romů na našem území, především jejich příchod do českých zemí, druhá světová válka a změny, které se sebou přinesl rok 1989.V další kapitole je věnovaná pozornost problematice sociálního vyloučení. Charakterizovány jsou jednotlivé dimenze a příčiny sociálního vyloučení. Kapitola Kulturní vyloučení se věnuje vzdělávání Romů v minulosti a dnes. Popsány jsou příčiny nízké vzdělanosti Romů a charakterizovány jednotlivé integrační nástroje. Poslední kapitola v teoretické části popisuje obecnou charakteristiku nezaměstnanost Romů a faktory, které ovlivňují vysokou míru nezaměstnanosti romské populace. Výzkumná část se zabývá několika problémy souvisejícími se vzděláváním. Hlavní výzkumné oblasti jsou: 1) míra uvědomění si souvislosti mezi vzděláním, kariérou a finančním ohodnocením, 2) znalost a orientace v českém vzdělávacím systému, 3) role vzdělání rodičů dítěte při výběru budoucího povolání a jakým způsobem rodiče své děti podporují, 4) roli dobrovolné služby mentoring organizace Tady a Teď a organizace samotné.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with issue of the Roma education and their position in the employment market. A history of Roma in our country is outlined especially their arrival in the Czech lands, their situation in the Second World War and the changes that came in 1989.The third chapter is focused on the issue of a social exclusion. There are characterized the individual dimensions and causes of the social exclusion. The fourth chapter deals with an education of Roma in past and present. There are described causes of the low Roma education and characterized individual integration tools. The last chapter in the theoretical part describes the general characteristic of the Roma unemployment and factors affecting the high trade of unemployment of Roma population. The practical part deals with several difficulties related to education. The main research aims are: 1) the degree of awareness of the connection between education, career and financial rewards, 2) the knowledge and an orientation in the Czech educational system, 3) the role of education the children's parents when choosing a future career and how parents are helpful to their children, 4) the role of voluntary service ?mentoring? of the organization ?Tady a Teď? and the organization itself.
