Business plan for an establishment of a fictive spin-off company with the participation of the university

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce byla vytvořena jako opora v podobě podnikatelského plánu navrženého pro budoucí transfer výzkumu a vývoje do podnikatelského prostředí formou spin-off, který byl realizovaný na Technické univerzitě v Liberci v oboru chemie. Samotný podnikatelský plán vzniknul na základě konzultací s osobami odpovědnými za tento transfer a dále na základě konzultací s vývojovým týmem, a především na základě sady individuálních šetření a analýz na předem vymezeném trhu. Významnou část této práce tvoří komentovaný návrh realizace a detailní finanční rozbor. Součástí je rovněž kapitola věnovaná financování, která předkládá možnosti získání kapitálu, a to včetně přesného vyčíslení požadované investice a její struktury. V závěru diplomové práce jsou otevřeny klíčové otázky související s riziky celého podnikatelského plánu, a tedy i budoucího směřování tohoto transferu výzkumu a vývoje do podnikatelského prostředí.

Abstract:

This Diploma thesis was created as a business plan designed for prospective transfer of research and development into business environment in the form of a spin-off, which was implemented at Technical University of Liberec in the field of chemistry. The business plan itself was created both on the basis of consultations with persons responsible for the transfer and on the basis of consultations with the development team, as well as on the basis of several individual investigations and analysis on a pre-defined market. A significant part of this work is formed by implementation design with commentary and a detailed financial analysis. It also includes a chapter dealing with financing, which presents the possibilities of obtaining capital, including the exact calculation of the required investment and its structure. At the conclusion of the diploma thesis, key questions related to the risks of the business plan, and therefore also the future orientation of this transfer of research and development into business environment, are discussed.
