Tato práce provádí důkladnou analýzu přítomnosti a používání biblické slovní zásoby v současné angličtině. This thesis conducts a thorough analysis of the presence and usage of figurative biblical vocabulary in contemporary English. The theoretical part of this study encompasses an introduction to the Christian Bible and some of the figures of speech, focusing mainly on idiomatic expressions.
