The Flexible Care Options for Employees in Selected Organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou možnosti realokace nastavení flexibilní péče o zaměstnance ve vybrané organizaci. Snahou je navrhnout takový systém péče, který by více reflektoval skutečné potřeby zaměstnanců a zároveň, aby byl nákladově efektivní pro samotného zaměstnavatele - sladění zájmů zaměstnavatele se zájmy jeho zaměstnanců. Cílem této práce je tedy odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku, která se ptá: Jaké jsou možnosti realokace nákladů vynakládaných na flexibilní péči o zaměstnance ve vybrané organizaci tak, aby reflektovaly jejich potřeby či preference a zvýšily tak užitek, který jim práce přináší? Teoretická část se nejprve zabývá vývojem personálního řízení a konceptu péče o zaměstnance. Dále je pozornost věnována vysvětlení a přiblížení obecného pojmu zaměstnanecké péče jako takové a dále je rozpracován užší pojem této péče, flexibilní péče o zaměstnance, a jeho specifik. V souvislosti s tím je zmíněn i koncept WLB (důvody, nástroje, důsledky), který s pojmem flexibility úzce souvisí. Následně je pozornost věnována kapitole věnující se současným možnostem flexibilní péče a aktuálně nabízených benefitů v rámci ČR. Metodická část se zabývá strategií celého výzkumu, jeho výzkumného vzorku a technikou zpracování dat. Dále vymezuje dílčí výzkumné otázky, které nám pomohou zodpovědět hlavní výzkumnou otázku. Empirická část se pokouší o interpretaci výsledků získaných analýzou dat pořízených metodou dotazníkového šetření. Poskytne nám odpověď nejen na otázku, zdali je nastavení péče o zaměstnance pro ně samotné opravdu důležité, ale především nám umožní identifikovat skutečné potřeby a požadavky těchto zaměstnanců vybrané organizace týkající se nastavení péče a poskytovaných benefitů. V souvislosti s tímto také zjistíme, zdali jsou tyto potřeby dány specifikem konkrétní organizace, nebo zdali se jedná o obecné vyjádření potřeb pracujících osob napříč různými profesními oblastmi. A v neposlední řadě nám empirická část nabídne možnosti alternativního nastavení péče o zaměstnance v námi pozorovaném podniku.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with a question of what are the care options and their possible adjustments (realocation) for the employees in selected organization. The main aim is to design such a system which could more reflect the real needs of the employees and simultaneously which could be more cost effective for the employer, basically, the alignment of employer´s interests with the interests of their employees. The main goal of this thesis is to answer the main research question which is: What are the possibilities of reallocation costs given for flexible care of the workers in selected organization, which would more reflect employees´ real needs and their preferences and with regard to this connection cause the increase of the benefit of their work? The theoretical part first deals with the development of personnel management and concept of the employee care. Further the attention is devoted to an explanation of the general term of the employees´ care. Further there is developed the term of flexible employees´ care and its specifics. In this context there is also mentioned the Work Life Balance concept (reasons, tools, consequences) which closely relates with the concept of flexibility. Hereafter, the attention is focused on the chapter dealing with the possibilities of employees´ flexible care and benefits which are currently provided in the Czech Republic. The methodical part deals with the strategies of the whole research, the research sample and data processing techniques. Furthermore, it defines the partial search questions that will help to answer the main research question. The empirical part tries is trying to interpret the results obtained by analyzing data recorded by the surveys. This can provide us not only with the answer on the question if the setting of the employees´ care is really important for the employees but also allows us to identify the real needs and requirements of the employees of the selected organization. Additionally, we can also find out whether these needs are determined by some specifics of each single organization, or whether it is a general expression of needs of working people across different occupational areas. Finally, the empirical part will offer the possibility of some alternative care settings in the observed organization.
