Insurance fraud

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku pojistných podvodů v České republice. Úvodní část je zaměřena na definici pojistného podvodu a současné právní úpravě pojistného podvodu. V dalších kapitolách je věnována pozornost především na dělení pojistných podvodů, příčiny páchání pojistných podvodů, indikátory pojistných podvodů, boje a prevencím pro zamezení pojistných podvodů a dopady pojistného podvodu. Významnou součástí práce tvoří analýza vývoje pojistných podvodů na českém pojistném trhu, dále vývoj průměrné škody, vývoj výše odhaleného objemu, vývoj pojistných podvodů z hlediska oblasti pojištění, a nakonec srovnání statistických údajů s Českou asociací pojišťoven a Policií ČR. Na konci práce je také zmínka o vlivu pojistných podvodů v důsledků pandemie SARS-CoV-2.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of insurance fraud in the Czech Republic. The introductory part is focused on the definition of insurance fraud and the current legal regulation of insurance fraud. In the following chapters, attention is paid mainly to the division of insurance fraud, the causes of insurance fraud, indicators of insurance fraud, the fight and prevention to prevent insurance fraud and effects of insurance fraud. An important part of the work is the analysis of the development of insurance fraud in the Czech insurance market, the development of average damage, the development of the volume detected, the development of insurance fraud in terms of insurance and finally comparing statistical data with the Czech Insurance Association and the Czech Police. At the end of the work there is also a mention of insurance fraud due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
