Lactational consulting in the community care

Abstract:

Diplomová práce mapuje problematiku laktačního poradenství v komunitní péči a problematiku výživy dětí do ukončeného šestého měsíce. Pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu zjišťuje jaká je výživa těchto dětí - zda-li jsou kojeny nebo je jim podána umělá výživa. Diplomová práce zjišťuje, které faktory ovlivňují matky při rozhodování, zda-li budou kojit nebo podávat umělou výživu a jaké jsou důvody, proč se některým ženám nedaří kojit. Diplomová práce zjišťuje, zda-li matky využívají služeb laktačního poradce a kolik jsou mu ochotny zaplatit. Teoretická část diplomové práce zdůvodňuje význam zdravé výživy kojence. Krátce popisuje zásady výživy kojence a vysvětluje pojem komunitní péče. Zjišťuje činnost organizací, které se zabývají podporou kojení. Popisuje metody, techniky laktačního poradenství. Věnuje se také problémům s kojením a jejich řešením.

Abstract:

The master´s thesis describes the problems of the lactation consulting in the community care and the problems of the baby nutrition up to the finished sixth month. Using the quantitative research it investigates how is the nutrition of these babies - if the are breast-feeded or if they receive an artificial nutrition. The master´s thesis investigates which factors influence mothers by making decision whether they will breastfeed or give an artificial nutrition and what are the reasons why some women are failing to breastfeed. The master´s thesis investigates whether mothers use the lactation consultant services and how much are they willing to pay him. The theoretical part of the master´s thesis gives reasons for the significance of the healthy infant nourishment. It describes briefly the principles of the infant nourishment and explains the term community care. It investigates the activity of organisations which deal with breastfeeding assistance. It describes methods, techniques of the lactation consulting. It also deals with breastfeeding problems and their solving.
