Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá historickým vývojem kardiopulmonální resuscitace a rozvojem postupů používaných při oživování člověka od prvopočátku po současnost. V první části práce je zhotoven detailní rozbor nejaktuálnějších doporučení pro resuscitaci vydaných Evropskou resuscitační radou v roce 2015.
