Risk Mapping and Presentation of its Results for the Purpose of Informing the Population in a Selected Municipality

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce je diferencována na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teore-tické části je popsán způsob informování obyvatelstva, problematika preventivně výchovné činnosti v oblasti ochrany obyvatelstva a současně také využití geografických informačních systémů v krizovém řízení, včetně problematiky mapování rizik. Praktická část je zaměřena na definování jednotlivých rizik a jejich následnou analýzu s důrazem na rizika s možným kartografickým zobrazením. Na základě zjištěných skutečností je realizováno mapování rizik na území města Uherský Brod. Primárním cílem předložené diplomové práce je tvorba základního nástroje pro informování obyvatelstva - informační brožury. Informační brožura prezentuje aktuální a reálné hrozby v Uherském Brodě a distribuuje primární informace vedoucí k úspěšnému překonávání mimořádných událostí.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the way of informing the population, preventive educational activities in the area of population protection and also the use of geographic information systems in crisis ma-nagement, including risk mapping issues. The practical part is focused on definition of individual risks and their subsequent analysis with emphasis on the risks with possible car-tographic representation. Based on the established facts risk mapping is implemented in the town of Uherský Brod. The primary aim of the submitted thesis is the creation of a basic tool for informing of population - information brochure. Information brochure presents current and real threats in Uherský Brod and distributes primary informations how to successfully overcome the emergency events.
