Ethics and Commodification: Attitudes towards a market in human organs in the Czech Republic

Abstract:
The thesis investigates attitudes towards the idea of a market in human organs among people in the Czech Republic. In response to a shortage of organs for transplant, many people have argued that allowing a market in organs would save many lives, allowing supply to meet demand.
