Terminology of the Orthodox confession in Russian and Czech culture

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza ruské náboženské pravoslavné terminologie, která je porovnávána s českým jazykovým prostředím. Analyzovaný materiál jsme získali prostřednictvím církevních kalendářů, náboženských slovníků, časopisů, modlitebních knížek, a internetových zdrojů, zabývajících se náboženskou tematikou. Diplomová práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je zaměřena na současnou situaci Pravoslavné církve na území České republiky a Ruské federace. Tato část se zabývá otázkou náboženské vzdělanosti, problematikou postavení církve z pohledu ekonomiky, vztahy a současnými spory mezi státem a církví, statistické údaje o věřících, dále obsahuje informace o časopisech a masmédiích. Praktická část, která je podstatou diplomové práce, je zaměřená na analýzu vyexcerpovaného materiálu z hlediska tématického, slovnědruhového, slovotvorného a strukturního a z hlediska původu slov. Součástí této diplomové práce je Rusko-český slovníček vytvořený na základě vlastního vyexcerpovaného materiálu z oblasti pravoslavného náboženství.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is an analysis of the Russian Orthodox religious terminology, which is compared with the religious terminology in the Czech language. The analyzed material was excerpted from church calendars, religious dictionaries and journals, prayer books and also from Internet resources concerning religious themes. The thesis consists of two main parts, theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the current situation of the Orthodox Church in the Czech Republic and Russian Federation. This part deals with religious culture issue, problems of a Church situation from economic point of view, relations and current conflicts between the country and the Church, the statistics of the faithful, then it includes the information about periodicals and mass media. The practical part, which is essential, is focused on analysis of the excerpted material from the aspects of thematical groups, parts of speech, word formation, structure and origin of words. A Russian-Czech vocabulary created on the basis of excerpted material from the orthodox religion field makes an integral part of this thesis.
