Fiscal Trends European Welfare State and Specialization of next Process

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Fiskální trend evropských sociálních států a další směr jejich vývoje“ je zhodnocení sociálních výdajů vybraných států EU v daném časovém období a identifikace fiskálních trendů, včetně posouzení reformních kroků ve vybraných státech EU a vliv na fiskální rozpočty. První dvě části práce jsou věnovány teorii sociálního státu, jeho podstatě, historickému vývoji, a zejména příčinám krize sociálního státu, která se objevila již v 80. letech minulého století, a současným problémům evropských sociálních systémů. V další části provedla autorka komparaci sociálních výdajů v pěti vybraných státech EU během desetileté časové řady, na základě které identifikovala jejich dlouhodobý trend. V poslední části práce pak autorka představila nejdůležitější reformy, které vybrané státy přijaly v posledních letech v oblastech penzijních a zdravotních systémů, a jejich vliv na financování uvedených systémů.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis „Fiscal Trend European Welfare State and Specialization on next Process“ is the evaluation of social expenditures in selected EU countries during this period and identification of fiscal trends, including an assessment of the reforms in selected EU countries and the impact on fiscal budgets. The first two chapters are devoted to the theory of the welfare state, its basis, historical development, and in particular the causes of the crisis of the welfare state, which appeared already in the 80s of the last century, and the current problems of European social systems. In the next part, the author conducted a comparison of social expenditures in five selected states of the EU during the ten-year time series, on that basis she identified their long-term trend. At last, the author has introduced the most important reforms in selected countries, which they have accepted in recent years in the areas of pension and health systems, and their impact on the funding of these systems.
