Public Relations and Fundraising as Tools for Mitigation of Financial Risks in Non-profit Organization

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce cílí do oblasti neziskového sektoru a vytváří podmínky ke snížení finančních rizik vybraného muzea. Za tímto účelem jsou v práci nastíněny možnosti implementace fundraisingu, jehož využití by analyzované organizaci umožnilo diverzifikovat zdroje financování. Vedle zásad tvorby literární rešerše, na kterých je postavena teoretická část, práce obsahuje rovněž SWOT analýzu a skórovací metodu s mapou rizik. Za hlavní výstup lze považovat podrobný plán začlenění fundraisingu do struktur organizace včetně rozpočtu, fundraisingové strategie a určení limitů tohoto záměru.

Abstract:

The submitted thesis is aimed at the non-profit sector and creates conditions for reducing the financial risks of the selected museum. For this purpose, the thesis outlines the possibilities of implementing fundraising, the use of which would allow the analyzed organization to diversify its funding sources. In addition to the principles of creating a literature review, on which the theoretical part is based, the thesis also includes a SWOT analysis and a scoring method with a risk map. The main output can be considered a detailed plan for the integration of fundraising into the organization's structures, including a budget, fundraising strategy and determination of the limits of this project.
