Collocations in LSP

Abstract:

In my diploma thesis I deal with analysis of colocations in scholary texts in area of banking. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part there is at first described development of concep colocation and colocation typology from Hausmann. The important chapter is the chapter four, where the concept of colocation is defined. There are criteria for colocation definition, its marks and there is also described the classification of phrases from Cruse. In the last chapter of the theoretical part there are itemized typologies of colocations by structure, eqiuvalence, idiomacity and by the function at the lexicon and text. I also mention there an issue of colocation translation. Practical part is focused on analyse of colocations in scholary text. As a basic element I´m interested in frequency occurence of colocation bases in texts, when i deal with not only the most common bases, but also those less common and also with those, in which these bases are occured. The next chapter contains colocation examples from texts with whole colocation surroundings. In the last chapter of practical part I deal with problems in translation of text colocations. I try to choose interesting and complicated colocations for translation from german to czech and also from czech to german. I describe the process of translation and also mention my own proposals suitable for translation.

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám analýzou kolokací v odborných textech z oblasti bankovnictví. Práce je dělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části je nejprve popsán vývoj pojmu kolokace a kolokační typologie od Hausmanna. Důležitou kapitolou je kapitola čtvrtá, která vymezuje samotný pojem kolokace. Jsou zde uvedena kritéria pro definici kolokace, její znaky a také je zde popsána klasifikace slovních spojení od Cruseho. V poslední kapitole teoretické části jsou rozepsány typologie kolokací podle struktury, ekvivalence, idiomatičnosti a podle funkce v lexikonu a textu. Zmiňuji zde také problematiku překladu kolokací. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu kolokací v odborném v textu. Jako základní prvek mě nejprve zajímá četnost výskytu kolokačních bází v textech, kdy se věnuji nejen nejčastějším bázím, ale také těm méně četným a také kolokacím, ve kterých se tyto báze vyskytují. Další kapitola obsahuje příklady textových kolokací i s celým kolokačním okolím. V poslední kapitole praktické části řeším problematiku překladu textových kolokací. Pokouším se o výběr zajímavých a komplikovaných kolokací pro překlad jak z němčiny do češtiny tak i z češtiny do němčiny. Popisuji postup překladu a také uvádím vlastní návrhy vhodné pro překlad.
