Social assistance as a help for families affected by a social exclusion

Abstract:

Moje práce se jmenuje „Sociální asistence jako pomoc rodinám zasažených sociální exkluzí“. V teoretické části popisuji sociálního asistenta, jeho vznik a postavení ve státní a nestátní sféře. Dále popisuji pojem sociální asistence, formy práce a typy činností sociálního asistenta. Snažím se vymezit jak sociální asistence pomáhá a zaměřuji se na konkrétní organizaci, která poskytuje službu sociální asistence. Konkrétně popisuji její cílovou skupinu – osamělé rodiče. Tito rodiče jsou ohroženi sociálním vyloučením a s tím spojenými riziky, kterými jsou bydlení, finance, zaměstnanost a vzdělávání. Popisuji tedy konkrétní organizaci, občanské sdružení STŘED a historii a vývoj služby „Sociální asistence a poradenství“, charakteristiku této služby a jednotlivé činnosti sociální asistentky. Uvádím také rizika a nedostatky této práce. V praktické části své práce se zabývám kazuistikami z toho konkrétního zařízení, které jsou vybrané na základě výše uvedených rizik. Zabývám se otázkou: „Jaké jsou výsledky této služby?“.

Abstract:

My work is called „Social assistance as a help for families affected by a social exclusion“. I describe social assistant, his origin and position in state and nonprofit sphere in theoretical part of my work. I also describe concept of social assistance, forms of work and types of social assistant´s activities. I try to define how social assistance help and I fixate concrete organization which offers the service of social assistence. In the concrete I describe clients of this service - single parents. These parents are endangered by social exclusion and risks as living, finance, employment and education. I describe concrete organization, civil association STŘED and history and development of service „Social assistance and counselling“, characterization of these service and activities of social assistant. I also present risks and insufficiences of this work. I am engaged in casuistries from this concrete organization which are chosen on base of the abovementioned risks in practical part of my work. I am engaged in question: „How are results of this service?“
