Nursing care for a woman with cervical cancer

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce je věnována ošetřovatelské péči o ženu s karcinomem děložního hrdla. První kapitola zachycuje prekancerózy, druhy maligních tumorů, rizikové a protektivní faktory, které ovlivňují vznik onemocnění. Další kapitola se zabývá diagnostickými, preventivními a terapeutickými metodami. Závěr teoretické části je věnován ošetřovatelské péči a potřebám o ženu s karcinomem děložního hrdla, je popsána předoperační, intraoperační, pooperační péče a úloha všeobecné a perioperační sestry v ošetřovatelství. Veškeré informace v teoretické části vycházejí z odborné literatury a internetových zdrojů. Praktická část je zpracována formou kvalitativního výzkumu. Byly vedeny hloubkové rozhovory, ze kterých jsou analyzovány nižší a vyšší potřeby ženy od doby sdělení diagnózy do podstoupení operačního zákroku. Jako výstup do praxe bylo navrženo se zaměřit na uspokojení nižší potřeby jistoty a bezpečí a další výzkumné šetření, do kterého řadíme, jaké potřeby jsou prioritní pro pacientky v pooperačním období. Součástí příloh je tvarový diagram potřeb.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is dedicated to the nursing care of a woman with cervical cancer. The first chapter depicts precancers, types of malignant tumours, risk and protective factors that influence the development of the disease. The next chapter deals with diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic methods. The theoretical section concludes with the nursing care and needs of women with cervical cancer, describing pre-operative, intra-operative, post-operative care and the role of the general and perioperative nurse in nursing. All information in the theoretical part is based on the literature and internet sources. The practical part is developed in the form of qualitative research. In-depth interviews were conducted, from which the lower and higher needs of the woman from the time of communicating the diagnosis to undergoing surgery are analyzed. As an output for practice, it was proposed to focus on the satisfaction of the lower need for reassurance and security, and further research inquiry, which includes what needs are a priority for patients in the post-operative period. A shape diagram of needs is included in the appen-dices.
