Comparison of forest regeneration after wind disturbance between even–age forest and uneven–age forest in the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá obnovou lesa po kalamitě. Cílem bylo analyzovat rozdíly ve stavu obnovy v lese pasečném, nepasečném a přírodní rezervaci. Vybrané kalamitní plochy vznikly při větrné kalamitě Antonín v roce 2010 na majetku Školního lesního podniku Masarykova lesa Křtiny. Sběr dat proběhl v roce 2020. V podrobném šetření byl zjišťován počet jedinců obnovy (ks/ha), druh dřeviny a jejich výšky. U monitoringu stavu vybraných porostních skupin byla zjišťována dřevinná skladba, stav obnovy, zajištěnost a jejich poškození. Vybrané plochy byly zalesněny smrkem, bukem a dubem. Z výsledků jsou patrné rozdíly v podílu přirozené obnovy na celkové obnově. V pasečném lese a přírodní rezervaci se přirozená a umělá obnova podílí přibližně stejným dílem na celkové obnově, z přirozené obnovy se zmladily hlavně světlomilné dřeviny – modřín a borovice. V nepasečném lese jasně dominuje přirozená obnova. Výsadba smrku jako hlavní dřeviny není vhodná, naopak pestrá prostorová a druhová skladba vede k stabilním porostům.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with forest regeneration after wind disturbace. The aim of the thesis was detect, if exist differences of regenetarion state in pasečný, napasečný forest and natural reserve. Selected areas devastated by wind caused by the wind disturbance Antonín in 2010 on the property of the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny. Data was collected in year 2020. The number of individuals (indd./ha), species of a tree and their height were detect in the detailed survey. For other selected areas were detrmined the species composition, state of regeneration, established plantation and their damaged. The areas have been reforested by norway spruce, beech and oak. The results show differences between percentage of natural and artificial regeneration in total forest regeneration. In clearing forest and natural reserve, natural and artificial regeneration contribute approximately equally to the total regeneration. Planting spruce as the principal tree species is not suitable, on the other hand, the varied spatial and species composition leads to stable stands.
