Abstract:
Ve druhé polovině 19. století zažívalo Brno bouřlivý ekonomický i kulturní rozvoj. Jedním z výrazných reprezentantů této konjunktury byl i podnikatel a malíř Franz rytíř von Felbinger. Byl to on, kdo importoval do Brna naturalistickou malbu, se kterou se setkal za svého studia na mnichovské akademii.
