The Memorial Destiny of Impure Deaths and the Souls of Returns in Czech Folk Culture

Abstract:

Vlastni tema prace je zamereno na moznosti a zpusoby zasahu necistych zemrelych do zivota cloveka, na jejich konkretni i mene zrejme posmrtne projevy. Poukazuje na to, jak byl zpusobem umrti poznamenany prubeh pohrebniho ritualu, jake neobvyklosti ho doprovazely a jak velky vyznam melo jeho provedeni pro posmrtnou existenci neboztika. Zaroven objasnuje, jake dusledky prinasi jeho nedostatecne vybaveni pozustalym. Druhou linii prace tvori podoba posmrtneho byti, ktera je primo odvisla od zpusobu zivota, od schopnosti i neschopnosti dostat spolecensko-nabozenskym narokum. Obsah prace je zasazen do sirsiho ramce chapani duse v lidovem prostedi, jak o nm vypovidaji etnograficke zaznamy z ceskych a moravskych zemi z 18. - 20. stoleti.

Abstract:

This project describes the after-life, its existence and the main issues before and after death. In general the project tries to engage in difficult questions such as when, where, how and why have the dead appeared in the period between the 18th - 20th century. The souls of returns have many different reasons why they want to return as spirits after death. The biggest danger for whole world and daily life were so-called the impure deaths. The impure deaths had a lot of forms in the state of post mortem. The souls of unnaturally dead, bad souls would stare at the places of their life, the sin and passing. Sometimes the souls stood by the demonic beings or ghosts and usually they became one of them. The returns of dead were so strong, that they put in daily life of villages and sociality. The returns of dead also created specific files of practices and behavior.
