Community Planning and Standards of Quality of Social Services in the Statutory City of Kladno

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce objasňuje podstatu, význam a potřebnost komunitního plánování a standardů kvality sociálních služeb. Teoreticko-metodologická část se zabývá metodou komunitního plánování obecně, seznamuje se sociálními službami a akcentuje nezbytnost jejich plánování. Představuje vybrané standardy kvality sociálních služeb a zdůrazňuje jejich zavádění ve spojení s komunitním plánováním sociálních služeb. Aplikační část práce charakterizuje prostředí Statutárního města Kladna pomocí historického vývoje a současných socioekonomických ukazatelů. Seznamuje s uskutečněným projektem a upozorňuje na jeho vzniklé výstupy. Obsahuje kvantitativní a kvalitativní terénní šetření včetně stanovení zkoumaných hypotéz a jejich ověřování na základě analýzy výsledků. V závěru práce ilustruje současnou podobu naplňování cílů a priorit stanovených v rámci projektu. Práce zdůrazňuje nutnost zapojování veřejnosti do plánování sociálních služeb za účelem vytváření kvalitnějšího spektra sociálních služeb jako základního standardu v oblasti lidských práv.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis clerifies substance, significance and requirement of community planning and standards of quality of social services. The theoretical and methodical part of this thesis inform about the method of community planning generally, acquaints with the social services and stresses necessity of them. It presents particular standards of quality of social services and underlines their initiation in connecting with community planning of social services. The aplication part characteries the area of Statutory city Kladno through historical evolution and present socioeconomic indicators. It inform about the project which was realized in the city of Kladno and points out arizen results. It contains the quantitative and qualitative field investigation including determination of hypotheses and theirs verification based on results analysis. In the end, the thesis illustrates the present form of compete objectives and priorities are determined in frame of the process of community planning. It accents necessity to join public into the planning of social service in order to develop more qualitative spectrum of social services like a basic standard in the sphere of humans rights.
