Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o konceptu metafor. Konktrétně se zabývá metaforami války v obchodní angličtině. Práce je rozdělena do tří podkapitol, které studují pozorumění metaforám, pojmovým metaforám, a kulturním a sociálním problémům, které se mohou v metaforách objevit. This thesis is a study of the concept of metaphors. It deals with a group of metaphors of war used in Business English. The thesis has three subchapters examining the understanding of metaphors, conceptual metaphors and cultural and social issues that can be found in metaphors.
