Reflection of study of social work by social workers

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl zjistit motivy ke studiu oboru sociální práce a provést reflexi těchto motivů z hlediska jejich naplnění v praxi z pohledu absolventů studia sociální práce. Současně usiluje o odhalení skrytých stránek motivace při výkonu profese sociálního pracovníka, kde se řadí skrytý mocenský stín a syndrom pomocníka. Práce je členěna do pěti kapitol, jež mají chronologickou návaznost. První tři kapitoly představují teoretický základ pro výzkum kvalitativního charakteru, jehož praktická realizace je představena ve čtvrté kapitole. Pátá kapitola se zaměřuje na interpretaci a analýzu výsledků empirického výzkumu, které v závěru podrobuje diskuzi.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to find out motives for studying social work and to carry out reflection of these motives in terms of their realization in practice from the point of view of social work graduates. At the same time it seeks to reveal hidden aspects of motivation in the practising social worker profession where a hidden power shadow and a helper syndrome are included. The work is divided into five chapters, which have chronological connection. The first three chapters provide a theoretical basis of the qualitative form of research whose practical realization is presented in the fourth chapter. The fifth chapter focuses on the interpretation and analysis of the results of empirical research, which are at the end the subject of discussion.
