Economics of grassland establishment in different climatic zones

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zachycuje problematiku travních porostů v různých klimatických pásmech. Nahlíží do problematiky travních porostů, jejich zakládání a obhospodařování. Seskupuje informace o ekonomice travních porostů vybraného podniku v České republice a farem v Kyrgyzstánu a Nikaragui. Práce je postavena na analýze této problematiky a komparaci informací, které byly získány na základě korespondence s vybranými zástupci podniků či farem. Zkoumány byly tři vybrané podniky či farmy. V České republice Hanácká zemědělská společnost Jevíčko a. s., v Kyrgyzstánu farma z vesnice Dobolu a v Nikaragui farma z oblasti departementu Boaco.Na základě korespondence bylo zjištěno, že v podniku Hanácká zemědělská společnost Jevíčko a. s. travní porost zaujímal 262,04 ha a náklady na založení či obnovení porostu činí okolo 10 000 CZK/ha, doporučení pro podnik bylo 1) vyzkoušet zakládání travního porostu za použití systémů no-tillage a minimum-tillage 2) otestovat pěstování tropických druhů trav a jetelovin v monokultuře. Farma z Kyrgyzstánu obhospodařuje 3 ha travních porostů a cena za obnovu či založení porostu se pohybuje kolem částky 3 100 CZK/ha, doporučení bylo doplnit do stávajícího porostu (monokultury) další vhodné druhy trav či jetelovin. Na farmě v Nikaragui je obhospodařováno 23,89 ha travních porostů. Náklady na založení nebo obnovu tohoto porostu činí cca 12 100 CZK/ha, doporučením je především pravidelnost v obnovování travního porostu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis captures the issue of grasslands in different climatic zones. It looks at the issue of grasslands, their establishment and management. It combines information on the grassland economy of a selected company in the Czech Republic with farms in Kyrgyzstan and Nicaragua. The work is based on the analysis of this issue and a comparison of information that was obtained on the basis of correspondence with selected representatives of companies or farms. Three selected companies or farms were examined. In the Czech Republic, Haná Agricultural Company Jevíčko Ltd., in Kyrgyzstan a farm from the village of Dobolu and in Nicaragua a farm from the Boaco department.Based on the correspondence, it was found that in the company Hanácká zemědělská společnost Jevíčko as the grassland occupied 262.04 ha and the cost of establishing or renewing the stand is about 10,000 CZK / ha, the recommendation for the company was 1) to test the establishment of grassland using systems no-tillage and minimum-tillage 2) Test the cultivation of tropical species of grasses and clover in monoculture. The farm from Kyrgyzstan manages 3 ha of grasslands and the price for the renewal or establishment of the stand is around CZK 3,100 / ha, the recommendation was to add other suitable types of grasses or clover to the existing stand (monoculture). The farm in Nicaragua manages 23.89 hectares of grassland. The cost of establishing or renewing this stand is about 12,100 CZK / ha, the recommendation is mainly regularity in renewing the grass stand.
