The thesis explores emigration from communist Czechoslovakia between 1968-1989 and the following return after the Velvet Revolution of 1989 on a personal level through the optics of 9 witnesses using the oral history method. Abstract:
Diplomová práca skúma reálie emigrácie z komunistického Československa v období rokov 1968-1989 a následného návratu po novembri 1989 optikou 9 pamätníkov pomocou metódy orálnej histórie. Sústreďuje sa na vnímanie pojmu „domov“ v emigrácii i po návrate, analyzuje však aj samotné priebehy odchodov i návratov, dôvody k nim, adaptáciu pamätníkov v novej spoločnosti aj re-adaptáciu v rodnej krajine.
