History and current state of Mixed Martial Arts in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem práce je vývoj a současný stav v Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) v České republice. Práce je napsána ve 4 částích. V primární části je popsán cíl, úkoly a metodika dané práce. V sekundární části charakteristika, historie, taktika, vzdálenost a také základní techniky MMA. V terciální části se dočteme o MMA zaměřenou na Českou republiku. Jsou zde zahrnuty pravidla, organizace a kluby provozující MMA. V kvartérní části je zmínka o tzv. “průkopníkovi“ MMA, slavná a světoznámá UFC. Na závěr jsou nastíněné nedostatky a shrnutí o MMA v České republice. Získané údaje zachycují současný stav klubů a organizací MMA působících v České republice.

Abstract:

The main topic if this thesis is a current state of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in the Czech Republic. The thesis has been written in 4 parts. In the primary part is described goal, tasks and mothodology. In the secondary part is the characterization, history, tactic, distance and basic techniques of MMA. In the tercial part is the MMA focused on the Czech Republic. We can find there rules, organizations and the clubs in the Czech Republic. In the last part is mentioned “an innovator“ of MMA, worldfamous UFC. At the end are outlined deficiences and summary about MMA in the Czech Republic. The obtained data show the current status of clubs and organisation in the MMA in the Czech Republic.
